BIG Thanks to The Winchester Music Tavern for inviting us to jump on the bill with Tantric and The Phoenix Within this past Sunday night! Both bands were great, and a nice crowd for a Sunday night to boot! Gunshine is back in Cleveland Wednesday August 19th, we're jumping on that one, and then September 19 at The Fairview Tavern. Sonic 67 and Gunshine team up for a show at Mercury Music Lounge, Wednesday August 19!
Round II! We first shared the stage with Gunshine last summer at The Winchester, and believe us when we tell you—they’re a kick-ass live band. We’ve been looking forward to doing it again, and this time we’re bringing the show to Mercury Music Lounge.
Gunshine just released a killer new album, Grand Rising, loaded with big riffs, hooks and straight-up rock ’n’ roll. We’re digging several tracks, but “Finite,” “Single Looks Good on You” and their song about Miley Cyrus, “My Oh Miley,” are definite standouts.
We’ll be bringing plenty of Sonic 67 favorites—and debuting at least one brand-new song. Maybe two. You’ll have to be there to find out!

Sonic 67 with The Vulture Kings at The Fairview Tavern in Saturday, September 19
We're teaming up with The Vulture Kings, a Cleveland-based heavy blues rock band rooted in groove, grit, and strong songwriting. Fronted by singer-songwriter and guitarist Brian Alan Hager, the band delivers tight, dynamic performances built on expressive guitar work, driving rhythms, and soulful vocals. Their sound blends deep blues influences with classic rock weight — balancing intensity with melody and thoughtful arrangement.
Formed this year, The Vulture Kings channel themes of resilience, ambition, and hard-earned perspective into songs that feel grounded and purposeful. Their debut album arrives this summer! In the meantime, check out a few tracks below!
